• Our school is the first school of Sitamarhi district to be selected for Atal Tinkering Labs Approved by NITI AYOG.
• School publishes E-Magazine every month to enhance creativity among students and Teachers.
• In the year 2019-20, in the Board Exam of class 10 (AISSE 2020) Total 207 Students appeared.
• All the 207 students passed, pass percentage 100%.
• 22 Students obtained 90%& above marks.
• School Topper Ankit Raj secured 97.6% marks and became District Topper in Sitamarhi, Bihar.
• A group of school students participated in Jawaharlal Nehru Science Exhibition upto and qualified for Zonal level and got selected for best model (3 rd position) from Bihar.
• Our school students participated in national children’s Science Congress and became state Awardees.

Hobby Clubs

All round development of the child is the key-purpose of DAV Public School Runnisaidpur, Keeping this in view, the school keeps on conducting co-curricular activities providing a platform to its students to let their hidden talent come out and bloom into perfection. Co-curricular activities not only help in giving practical knowledge of a subject, but also help in carving out the best of the human being out of a delicate child.

Under the system of hobby clubs, all theteachers and students of the entire school are divided as per the choice and taste of their hobby. In this way, entire school gets bifurcated in different clubs at their respective venue on the days for Club Meetings. These students are trained by the expert teachers of that club giving wings to the latent talent of the young minds. These clubs are:    Dance Club, Dramatic Club, Fine Art Club, Debating Club, Gardening Club, Science Club, Yoga & Martial Art Club, Heritage Club, Hindi Club, Literary Club, Mathematics Club, Music Club.

ONLINE CLASSES DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed education forms with school shut across the world. Millions of children have had to adopt to new types of learning. In our school, teaching is under taken remotely and on Digital platform, Such as Zoom and Whatsapp. With the sudden shift away from the classroom, Integration of information technology in education is further accelerated and that online education has eventually become and integral component of school education. There is considerable improvement in the attendance of online students while normal classes are not permitted by the Government.

Although located in rural area where most of the students from come from remote villages, our school is trying its best to reach out to every student’s doorstep with online teaching materials. Daily Lecture are uploaded on Our Youtube Channel DAVRUNNISAIDPURSITAMARHI. Notes in the form of Images, pdf files and Video links are sent to every child through Whatsapp Broadcast. Students attend their classes sitting at their home. Online CCA Activities are held every week. Thus during COVID -19 pandemic class room were locked but not the classes. Teaching, creativity, imagining and studying from home are never stopped at all.
