ABOUT SCHOOL

D.A.V. Public School, Runnisaidpur, Sitamarhi is a glorious link in the chain of DAV institutions run by D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi in India and overseas with over 900 schools 75 colleges and a university.  It is based on the ideals of the religious and social reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati.

The school was founded in 1992 at Runnisaidpur in Sitamarhi by the efforts of Mahatma N D Grover, who nurtured the sapling of the school to a full fledged and well spread plant of education .It is the first CBSE affiliated DAV public school of the district teaching students mostly coming from remote villages. It holds the record of achieving 100 percent results in the AISSE since its establishment. English is the primary language of instruction, with students also receiving compulsory education in Hindi and Sanskrit.During last 26 years the school has progressed much and has brought great changes in the standard of teaching learning process. The school has been growing its strength and has been providing opportunities for multifaceted growth of students through interactive curriculum.
